Nino makes the world a better place in a frog costume

Arashi’s Kazunari Ninomiya (27) will star in a new commercial for JCB credit cards in a frog costume, reports Oricon.

Continuing on from his previous commercials with the company, fans will see Ninomiya going down his comedian career path as he buys a frog costume from the internet for his new act. This buy sets off a chain reaction of different surprises and somehow ends up saving the world’s economy.

The commercial’s message is that even small things people buy can mount up to have large consequences, which can ultimately have a positive impact on the world.

The scene where Ninomiya uses his costume is only shown for a split second, but it has been reported the star had spent a long time getting the timing of the jokes right and getting the overall speed of the act perfect.

The new JCB commercial will go on air in Japan from November 18.
