Kanjani∞ to Expose Secrets of Arashi in "Arashi no Shiagare"

popular group Kanjani 8 will be making an appearance as a guest on NTV’s “Arashi ni Shiyagare Natsu no 90-pun Kakudai Special” together with the MCs of the program, Arashi. The 12 guys will have a “secret talk” together.

Though 5 out of 7 Kanjani 8 members have appeared on the same program back in August 2011, this will be the first time for the members to appear on it altogether.
Reportedly, Kanjani 8 members will expose the secrets of Arashi members on the “rumor” corner, such as an Arashi member who ignored Nishikido Ryo’s mail, an Arashi member who Murakami Shingo wants to ask for Taxi fare, and more.  Moreover, Arashi and Kanjani 8 will confront each other by quiz and game, under the title “Who is the true Johnny’s idol!”

Subsequently conceived the "Johnny is the true idol! Which is it," and battle in the quizzes and games. Gunbai sure enough is?

Kanjani8's Upcoming Movie Eight Ranger

On March 4th, it was announced that “Eight Ranger” which is a Sentai parody corner performed at Kanjani8’s concerts, will be released as a movie. This will be the first starring movie for Kanjani8 as a group The 7 members become heroes fighting against evils in apocalyptic 2035 Japan.

The title will be simply “Eight Ranger”. It will be directed by Tsutsumi Yukihiko (“20th Century Boys” and “Trick”). Kanjani8 member Yokoyama Yu, who originally proposed the corner, commented happily, “I can’t believe the corner that was originally just for fun, would be a movie.”

At Kanjani8’s concerts, the corner is roughly 20 ~ 30 minutes long and full of jokes. However, in the movie, it will be wider-scaled SF movie set in the near future. Reportedly, it will be a human drama that the members stand against a group of terrorists, while leaving some comedy elements.

It was revealed that actor Tachi Hiroshi will also appear as an original character named “Captain Silver” that is supposed to be a legendary hero.

“Eight Ranger” is scheduled to be released on July 28th.

Okura Tadayoshi to pose of “anan”

Kanjani8’s Okura Tadayoshi (26) will be taking it all off for the August 31st issue of ‘anan‘ magazine.
This will be the magazine’s annual sex special issue, which has featured Mukai Osamu and Ikuta Toma in the past. During an editorial conference, it was asked, “Who would readers want to see nude?“, and Okura was selected for the next issue.
Before the shoot, Okura expressed his doubts, saying, “Am I okay for this? I thought there would be hidden cameras.” Once the shoot started, however, he was willing to shoot shower scenes, bed poses, and hip shots which surprised even his staff. The magazine will reportedly include 8 pages with 9 sexy shots of Okura.
Okura started training one-on-one with a full-time trainer a month before the shoot in order to enhance his physique. He claims, “It was my goal to take it off for ‘anan’.”
Stay tuned for Okura’s pictures on the August 31st issue of ‘anan’!
